Pin Cushion Ottoman

The ottoman was shown at the SOFA Connect 2017 student expo. The materials and color configuration were tailored to fit the student exhibit. The slip cover is made up of many pieces of different materials just like the inspiration idea for this project. Small amounts of hand-dyed Shibori fabric were used to add a splash of color and tie this piece to the rest of student collection.
The primary material for the cover is felt. It is featured in four colors from the brown pallet. Cream color leather adds a different texture to the piece and compliments the texture of felt.
